ahsupply is great. I ordered two kits from them and it really makes a difference. You need at least 6700k to grow plants. I have 9325k so I can't comment on how much blue a 6700k bulb has

6700K has a yellowish-green tint when you look at it. I'm not sure how much blue it has in it.

i saw them at fleet farm (15w 7000k). they might have it at hardware stores too, in the flashlight or automotive aisles, as they are stocked right next to those hand-held lights people use for working on cars and such.

i have a 55 over a 20 gal long. make sure to keep it heavily planted co2 and ferts. i might go with the 36w kit.

You need at least 6700k to grow plants.
B.S. You should not be giving advice in this thread if you truly believe this. The sun is roughly 5500K, are you trying to say the sun cannot grow plants?
