Hey all, found this site and some of you have really great information. I currently have 2 cichlid tanks, but have been in the process of setting up a 75 gal tank to give my pets a new home. In my 40 gal tank I have 2 tiger oscars, 2 jewel fish, and 2 firemouths with a pleco that is about 6 inches long. all of the others are under 4 inches. I know the oscars are going to grow larger, therefore the 75 gal tank. I also have a breeder tank where I have a female Kribensis with about 35 7-week old hatchlings, that will be moved to my 40 gal. The male Krib died about 2 days after fertilization, but mama and children are doing well. Other than that, I am fairly new to this kind of fish, so is very exciting for me. By the way, if anyone know how to sex jewels, oscars, and firemouths...please let me know.
