I'm setting up a new 10g at my office. I want to grow a variety of plants.

Would something like this be adequate for growing plants http://www.drsfostersmith.com/Product/Prod_Display.cfm?pcatid=3780&N=2004+113765

Or should I go with a glass canopy with a fixture like this http://www.drsfostersmith.com/Product/Prod_Display.cfm?pcatid=13734&N=2004+113345
or is that overkill?
Or how about a glass canopy with this light strip http://www.bigalsonline.com/BigAlsUS/ctl3684/cp18369/si1383400/cl0/coralife20aqualightpowercompactstriplight1x28watt

Which one of these would be the best for which plants?

Thanks!

I'm using that exact standard deluxe hood on my 10g. It comes with a 9325K bulb. Perfect for plants. 15W will give you 1.5wpg which is plenty for most types of plants. Especially crypts, anubias and java fern.
