I have a sword I'm considering taking out of my tank. See this thread:

My question is this: I need to prune my cobomba, moneywort, and H. polysperma. I may also add additional driftwood, which would add a few days to get that ready. Would plants last in a bucket of tank water for 2-5 days? I could probably wait a few days to prune even though these things are leaving the tank. I don't think I've seen any other info on leaving plants outside of the tank for a few days.

Any ideas?

If they can survive in a wet newspaper for a few days (during shipping) I don't see why they couldn't withstand a few days in a bucket.

They do not need to be in water if only a few days. They MUST be kept moist (hence the wet newspaper), and they must be kept warm too.
