While noticing my cons spawning I went and scoped out the 55 gallon that is growing out my jack dempsey. While inspecting I noticed she has dug a huge ditch in the cave she has claimed under a few pieces of slate and a few rocks and there are 4 entrances from various spots that she has blocked off practically with the sand and when looking down into it from the closest entrance hole it goes down quite a ways in the substrate and its pretty dark and I can't see much but I can see her in the middle close to one of the rocks and she hasn't been out even to eat hardly at all in the past couple of days. Shes only 4 inchs or so and i wouldn't expect this but I don't know what else to think. Is she laying eggs and just doesn't have a male to fertilize or whats going on here do you think???
