well bad news...i cant find my goby ....ne where...me and my buddy ahve searched the whole tank...now before i freak out is it possible my clown or wrasse woulda ate em?? prolly not right? well i checked the floor since i dont have one section of my tank covered and hes not on the floor...not in the sump or overflow or skimmer or HOB...cant seehim ne wehre in the tank...buts its possible hes hiding somewhere hardcore or borrowed right? i just want to see the guy...i hope he didnt make his hide out in the back where i cant see him...i just wanna see the guy
He is probably just hiding under the rocks.

He probably has dug himself a hole and won't come out until he is hungy.. You have to realize that you just transported him 3 hours in a bag and then hung him in your tank to acclimate him and he is working through the stress.. Give it a while..

<<<<----impatient, overly concerned, impatient, overly concerned...lol....i hate that with new fish....even more then when they dont eat for a few days cause they are stressed...srry thanks i hope he digs a hole in front...is it possible his hole will b in the back and only stay in the back so i wont see him?
It is possible yes. My goby however has at least 3 cave openings he swims in and out of. He has probably created quite the tunneling system under my rocks.

Mine has created a whole interconnected network of openings in the front, back, side.. I can see it go in one hole and then leasurly come swimming out from the complete other side of the tank..
Let him get settled.
Agreed, when I think what a fish goes through to get to our tank I'm surprised they ever come out frankly.

My goby was missing this morning and I couldn't find him anywhere. Of couse I was worried and did the normal look on the floor, but nothing. I finally did some extra peeking around and found he has dug himself a big hole under the biggest rock in the tank. He has also done some excavating around my featherduster and likes to play there next to him.
