Hey folks! I ment to post this here but accidentally posted in the FW Newbie Forum and have no idea how to move it so sorry for the duplicate post!

I've been lurking for quite a while and finally got a decent sized tank that I plan to setup as a reef system. I need to figure out if it is tempered or not. It is a 110 Extra high that is several years old. I assume it is either an All-Glass or Perfecto but I don't know if there is a way to tell the difference. There is no markings on the tank I can find though the strip light is Perfecto. The glass is 1/2" thick on all sides, I am not sure of the bottom (I probably would drill the sides anyway). There is no support brace across the top. The dimensions are 48 x 18 x 30 3/4.

Thanks!!
Chris

I'm pretty sure that all-glass aquariums all have assembled by tags stuck in the bottom rim.

I'd contact both and then go from there.
All-Glass: http://www.aqueonproducts.com/about/contact-us/
Perfecto: http://www.perfectomfg.com/

I do agree with Nolapete, though... every All-Glass tank I've had came with an "assembled by" tag in the bottom rim.

Thanks fsn77 and Nolapete. I emailed both companies per your suggestions and hopefully they will be able to help out.

Thanks again,
Chris
