One of my angels has been beating up another relentlessly. They have to be separated. Its getting worse and I dont want the other to be killed. I don't have a spare tank available. Can I put the angel (4" not including fins) in with my baby oscar (about 5 or 6")?

i strongly say no.
what size tank are the angels in? how many are there? do you have room to add a couple more? that could spread the aggression.

The angels are in a 55 gallon tank right now. I currently have a 2" angel, 4 angel and 5" angel, 3 3" powder blue gouramis, 5 guppies, 2 platies, 5 1" cherry barbs, 5 black neon tetras and 3 baby parrot cichlids (they are 1" and going to be moved in with the oscar as soon as they are too big to fit in his mouth). Do I have enough room for more angels? How many more should be put in there? Could I add babies or do they have to be the same size as the current angels?

no you dont have enough room. im guessing the 2" angel is the one getting picked on. if you could get rid of the other fish you could probably get another angel that's around 2".. but i would strongly recommend a tank upgrade in the near future.

Also, as far as the BPs go, just because they don't fit in the oscar's mouth doesn't mean he won't kill them. My oscar killed several silver dollars by catching them and swimming around with them like a dog with a frisbee. They were way too big for him to swallow but he wouldn't give them up. Just FYI.

I have the blood parrots in a group of 3 and wouldn't put them in the tank until they are at least half the size of the oscar. I was told by many people that they would go together well as long as they are in a group. If it doesn't work I can always put them in another tank.
The 2" angel never gets touched! Its the 5" angel who is being picked on.

The only other tank I have is a 10 gallon but I feel it is useless except for a hospital tank. Could I put my little monster in there alone? Is that enough room? Are they a social fish? I dont want him to be depressed but I can't let him kill my other angel.

one angel needs at least 30 gallons.. most people recommend more.
i really believe there's no way out of this situation except to either get rid of some fish or buy a larger tank. sorry.

No angel/oscar mix.

Oscars will likely shred the pretty fins of the angels causing stress and even death.

In your situation I would not recommend it.
Although I have successfully had Angels live with oscars. The thing is the angels were full grown and living in the tank before the oscars, and the oscars were about 1" when added, as well as the tank being 180 gallons. But recently i gave the angels away as my oscars were getting large and my Severums decided to start breeding. So it can be done under the right circumstances.
