Hey all, I joined this forum a while back and started posting and getting alot of help from everyone... unfortunetely I have run into personal issues and I haven't been able to post or enjoy my tank.
I have a tank that is pretty big... 16' long by 3' deep and 3 1/2' high... I can get all the equipment details and extras shortly... I have to sell this house and I need to get rid of this tank... I paid over 150k for everything and all the livestock in it... I am putting on here first because I am not looking to make my money back or make a buck... I just want my fish and coral to go to someone who will take care of them and enjoy them... I am looking for a good faith offer with the purchaser knowing that everything is "AS IS" and he would be 100% responsible for getting it out of here.. it is in a basement with a straight walk out through one door to my garage... the tank empty weighs 900lbs I believe so you will need some pallet jacks (Which is how they got it in here!)
Again.. I know it's a huge tank and my chances of finding someone to take it are probably slim and none but I have to try every possibility to find my guys a new home. It is a steal and a find of a lifetime for someone who can find an open wall big enough.. LOL!!!!

I am located in Freehold, NJ and will make myself or my wife available to show the tank and equipment. :(

God I'd love to.. Wow.. But I can't get something that big from NJ to ND.. Sorry to hear you need to give it up.. Good luck on finding homes. If you decide to part out any of the livestock I would be interested in the bubble coral and the frogspawn (at least I thought thats what it was).

Sucks to hear the LFS guy basically suckered you in and dumped in that many fish in that short while. That tank would look so sick with SPS and halides.

The owner is in jail and the company was purchased by someone else... I could go to court but it's not worth the stress!!!

If everyone can reach out to friends and LFS to see if maybe they would want such a big tank and for reffering them you could claim livestock or pieces of equipment...?????? HELP!!!! LOL!!!!!!:help:

Freddy....have you checked with the local reef club? Some of my local guys would do a big tank like that in a second. You're going to have better luck with locals just because of transport I'd think.

I'm not sure who to contact or how to get in touch with these guys? Anyone on this forum know anyone that belongs to a New Jersey / Metro area Reef Club? Good Idea though.... Thanks...

OR you could do something crazy and donate it to a hospital for people w/ dissabilities or a rahab center or something like that and get a tax write off.

Try www.njreefers.org and www.manhattanreefs.com

Both have active for sale sections and both are local to you.

I'd love your tank, but...
