compatibility qeustion

i was wondering in a single or a pair of clownfish would be too aggressive to house with my purple firefish? its a 30 gallon reef and ive heard that clownfish can be very aggressive but if i just kept one would it be ok?

I've seen others get away with it, especially since you'll be adding the clown after the firefish.

It can be done but the kind of clown you choose to get will matter too.

I haven't had any problems with my maroon clown. He swims and plays with the goby.
