Yes and no... there were a few wise guys on the beach, but they pretty much did their own thing. I did put my bag down and walked to a near by tide pool to catch critters and when I came back one lone macaque had opened and threw all my stuff out. Video camera was safe, but barely. Luckily there was no food, but one day someone might see a macaque in Tommy Hilfiger t-shirt and some Nikey shorts.

Yes... It is Japan. Minami Izu city in Shizuoka prefecture. East of Nagano. Definitely, Japan has a lot of natural beauty to offer...
I've been here 9 years and it still amazes me...
