I have two different sizes. Small and Medium. These Sponge Filters do not have recommendations for gallons, but I suggest the small from anything from 10 - 15 gallons and the Medium from anything from 15-20 gallons. But thats just what I think.

The small is around 13.5 cm tall. The Sponge is 7.5 cm in diameter. You can put filter cotton or activated carbon into the interior of the filter since it is divided into sections. The small size sponge filter has one section.

The medium is around 23.5 cm tall. The Sponge is 7.5 cm in diameter, but twice as tall as the small size. You can put filter cotton or activated carbon into the interior of the filter since it is divided into sections. The medium size sponge filter has two sections.

There is a large size, but I currently do no have it. I believe it is around 30 or more cm tall. The sponge is around 20 cm in diameter.

Each Sponge Filter comes with a packet of "Cheer Swim"

Features:
1. Clarify water, let fish live cheerfully
2. High tech cleaning water formula contains biological bacterium that will decompose nitrite and ammonia continuously to lessen frequent water changes. The water quality turns clean in a short time after using.
3. Enhance fish immunity system; reduce algae and germ occurrence, stabilize aquarium ecology, promote healthy growth of fish.

There is no recommended dosing, but directions are on packet.

Questions please PM me. Pictures will be posted shortly, but in cell phone camera quality.

I forgot pricing. The small is $13 shipped and the medium is $15 shipped. I will also include ( FREE FREE ) a sponge to cover the intake on a H.O.B. filter. The sponge is 5.5 cm tall so it might not cover the whole intake.

I also would love to trade Sponge filters for other items such as live plants, cherry shrimp and other stuff.

Note : I will not be able to ship items until early September.

that is a generic hydrosponge ripoff (probably infringing on patents) and for some reason costs 150% more?

It does look like a Hydro Sponge rip off, though I don't own a hydro-sponge I think it does look like it.

150% more? where do you buy your sponge filters?
