angel worry

hi, i've just been feeding my angels, i noticed 1 was releasing bubbles from its gills, its is quite a hungry fish and went for the flakes with a passion, i am thinking maybe it just swallowed a bit of air and it released it through its gills

other than it seems a bit jumpy it looks healthy enough, could somebody put my mind at ease or does this fish have a problem

it sounds fine to me- fish often get a litle air when they eat, especially if they are rushing to get it. its perfectly normal

if they are agressive feeders(as many angels area) they tend to gulp the flakes off the surface..and take in air at the same time...just passing the air ..

I see my angels gulping air all the time when eating.

do you have enough plant cover in the tank? that can help them feel more secure.
