I currently have a 30G FOWLR tank which has been up for almost 2 years now and I have stumbled upon a FREE tank between the sizes of 80-150G tank (the person I am getting the tank from doesn't know the exact size). If I remember correctly, I have about 60lbs of LR in my current tank. I also have a substrate of CC which I am planning on switching to some kind of sand substrate. My question is, how much more LR should I get and how many lbs of sand would I need to cover the bottom of a 100G tank? I am eventually planning on turning it into a full blown reef once i save the money to do so. I currently have a damsel, 2 clowns, an orange firefish, a neon goby, a cleaner shrimp, and various other snails and hermit crabs.

Plan on about 1# per gallon of aragonite. You can use less...you can use lots more if you want a DSB (deep sand bed). You don't need to get live sand, so you can save a little money there.

Plan on 1-2#s of live rock per gallon. You can use towards the lower end if you use porous rock like Marshall Island. You'll want to use towards the higher end if you use dense rock like Tonga Branch.

By the way..how is that damsel getting along with the other fish?

The Damsal is actually getting along perfectly with all of the other fish. They all feed together and everything! I guess i got lucky huh?! :headbang2:
