I just bought a 24"tall 90G tank. I currently have a coral life 2 X 150W MH with 2 X 96 Actinics (492watts) on my 55 that I'm going to tear down. Will this lighting suffice my needs for SPS corals in the 90G? If not what would be the ideal wattage range? Thanks for the help!

No just in the middle to the top portion. I guess I should also mention that I will have clams in it also.

Even SPS corals, depending on the species, have different lighting needs. Generally, they need very strong lights, which I think you understand.

If you asked me, personally, I think your coralife is good enough for most of them, as long as you keep them at the top closer to the surface.

Thank you, I was hoping to get away with my current lights on my new tank.

hmm... i personaly woudl only keep most species right up under the MH, probalby in the top 1/3rd or even 1/4 of the tank. buuuut, i have a 400 watt halide on a 16" tank (not including sandbed...) so i think it is clear that i am probably a little biased on the whole situation :)
when i did have a 150 though, i did find that there were very very obvious differences between light output with just a few inches of space.
