im thinking about adding to my tank, but i dont want to overstock it. ive been using mostly liveaquaria.com for quck research. my question is, is there an equation or something to figure out what my stocking limit is? the site has a minimum tank size req for the fish, but i dont know if that means how many gallons that fish needs by itself. thanks guys :)
off topic, this smiley is awesome! lol

The answer you'll get is, what kind of fish do you have? That will dictate what kinds can go there and in what size fish tank do you have? Then you'll get some suggestions. :-)

oh, haha, that makes sense. sry about that, i have a red tailed shark, 3 bloodfins, and 3 green tiger barbs.
i was thinking about getting a few more bloodfins and barbs, to have like 5 or 6 of each. what would be some good tank mates for them? would a german blue ram be alright? thats a beauty of a fish
thanks :)

The next thing that would be nice to know, is what size tank you have...

its something hard to explain comes with experience. there are many factors....
keep a eye on the red tail shark known to be very aggressive over time.
