I've had 2 blood shrimp in my tank for about 3 months now. Once they discovered each other they have been together ever since. I've heard how some shrimp don't like each other, not the case with these two.

I just looked at one of them and it has tons of what looks like eggs tucked underneath the bottom part of the shrimp where all those little fan/legs are. It's really crazy. there are tons of egg like things in there. I'd take a pic but its far too small.

I've read about shrimp breeding before so I'm aware these eggs have like zero chance of survival in my tank. But that's all I know. What's going to happen?

I agree...unless the shrimp are moved away to a seperate breeder tank, their chance of survival is near enough zero i am afraid....the eggs will certainly get targetted by other inhabitants...and i am sure they will enjoy the nutritcious meal....

I am sooo jealous. I have raised freshwater shrimp before and they will survive (the freshwater ones), if you put the female in a breeding cup or protective environment in your tank.

I have six peppermint shrimp and 1 of them is usually pregneant at any one time. When they release their eggs, it clouds up the water and all the fish in the tank go crazy eating the eggs. Haven't had one survive yet.
