How long does salt last?

Im thinking about getting the pail of Reef Crystals salt. Right now I will just be using it to make water changes on my 38g so I will not be using that much right off but Im planning on getting a 75g when I move in 3 or 4 months and using what was left to set it up and didnt know if once opened how long it would last. Would it be ok for that long?

Yes, i've used that in one of my aquariums when it was left sitting in a drawer for over a year, so a few months wont hurt it.

Stored correctly salt will last for years without degrading in any way.
