I introduced a 3" jag to my tank 5 days ago and he's been fairly picky. So far I've fed him earthworms and dried baby srimp, but he won't take any kind of pellets. What should I be doing to vary his diet more? Do I just need to wait more?

Don't feed for a day and try. I had to do the same with my GT. It still doesn't like flakes unless it is very hungry, but it goes to town on pellets now.

before we go any further can I ask what you have it housed with and what size tank??:D
