I was at the LFS today and I saw a juranese catfish. I know theyre related to the tig and tsn, but is their care basically the same? Can someone tell me some info on them? I typed in "Juranese catfish" on google, but said I spelled it wrong, and I should try "Japanese catfish", so that ended quickly.

Also, he was around 4" without the streamers and priced at 40 dollars. Im actually filling out an application to the store, and sinse my friends dad is the owner, he said Ill 99% have the job. So with employee discounts, It will be 26 dollars. Is that a good price? Thanks for the help.

Oh yea. Hell be in a 75g tank, until I get an upgrade.

You have the wrong spelling, that's why you can't find it. This is a 24" predator requiring high water current. Any "upgrade" would need to be very serious indeed.

Not off-hand, but probably quite quicker than you would like with good feeding and water changes.

Growth rate is the same as tigs...although some people have reported they can grow quicker. They explode through the juvenile stage and slow down a little bit after that.

LOL...pretty much similar to a TSN...you're talking anywhere from 1-2" a month depending on feeding and water change frequency.
