Can anyone ID these? I know some of them. There are two kinds of val. There is Fernweed in the back right. Bladder wort top right and grass in the back left. I don't know if the red stuff is young fernweed or not and i don't know what the plant in the left front is.

Can't help on the ID, but anxious to see it fill in!

I have to add that this is a QT grow out tank for the plants... I don't know if I'll keep fish in it. I'm just using an airstone for circulation right now but I can always throw a couple of corner filters in one of the other tanks for a few weeks to get some bacteria.

Maybe the little fella could have it all to itself.

is that the only one left?

pretty cool looking

I think so... i didn't really look for more. It looked easy to catch, and it was, so I have it in a hatching container. It's a baby swordtail. I've seen them from time to time but never more than 1 and never had one get to maturity. Maybe this one will make it. No male is in any tank and she's never had a mate here so she's going on her stores of... eh... seed.

Q

isnt the bladderwort a carnivorus plant?

i use to keep those things when i was younger, but i cant remember if bladderwort is the carnivore.
