2-3 weeks ago, I picked up some LR rubble at the LFS to put in the small HOB in my 3g. One piece of the rubble looked like dead coral, but the fiancee liked it. I was putting it in the HOB, and she said why don't I put it in the main tank. So, I did. Today, I noticed that it has come back to life, only I don't know what kind it is. Candycane? The 3 polyps (are these polyps?) have a brownish-orange perimeter, with a bright green center. How about some basic care info, whatever it is.

Sorry for the crappy pic, but this is the coral in question, visible "polyp" with green center on left of rubble piece in center:

Without a better photo I can't identify the coral in question. Be careful of that bumblebee snail by the way, they are carnivores.

What will the bumble bee snail eat? I have lost a few feather dusters in that tank. Thanks for the input.

They'll eat detritus but when they get hungry they'll prey on other snails.

Ahh, just lost a nerite. Maybe that's it! I was thinking it might be the hermit, but now....

I'll try to take a better pic of the coral during tomorrow's day cycle. It is rather pretty. I want to move it, but the woman thinks that since it came back from the dead, it's happiest where it is.

Don't rule the hermit out of course. I'd agree the coral is happy for now. You can try moving it later but let it get established first
