View Full Version : Do I have room for a pair of Rams?

I just got an email today from my LFS saying they received some beautiful german blue rams. Wanted to go get a pair. But do i have enough room?
I have a 55 gallon Hexagon with:
1 8" Golden Severum
1 6" Pleco
5 1" Tiger Barbs
3 2" Gourami's
What do you guys think?

The Severum seems like an awful big fish to be sharing the bottom with a few small Blue Rams.
Just a thought ... I'd be curious to know as well from some more experienced fish keepers.

you'd probably have some problems with the sev., my pair of GBR's are extremely agressive to anything that comes into their territory.

I say it is a 50/50 call....
If your pleco is a common one, I would definately say forget it unless you get rid of the pleco.
