Not sure if this has been posted or not but seeing a few posts on tanks getting hot because it is so hot this summer I thought I would just post how I lowered mine.
We keep the air here at 73 but with the lights on the tank my temp would go up to 86,sometimes even higher,alittle to warm.So I turned the ceiling fan on in the room where the tanks are.I don't normally use the fan because it freezes me to death but it lowered my tank temp down to between 80 and 82.I was shocked that it lowered it that much.And the celing fan is on low speed.
I just wonted to pass this on for those who have a problem with heat,maybe it can help some one..
