Hi, here's the pic of the blue hap. alhi, as least that's what walmart calls it. Can someone tell if it is male or female? There is an almost yellow color on the tips of his/her top fin,,,,,if that means anything. Also, when in the tank, it almost looks black, with the blue color only really showing up in the pics....thanks all.

Doesnt really look like an Ahli to me. Probably a hybrid.

thats a really weird looking ahli..can't really sex it through the photo tho, i can't see the color well enough :(

Its not an Ahli. The vertical stripes and red in the fins are good indications.

That's what the sign said at walmart. What do u think it is? He/she is rather aggressive.

Body structure and color look like a scianachromis fryeri to me. Might be wrong, could be a hybrid, In the pic it looks like it has a blue tint to me. Depending on the size, I think it is a female due to the fins.

Shape seems to be a hap. Looks wierd to me as being an Ahli. Probably a hybrid. Will, female Ahlis are brown. :)

Sorry, not too sure what it is, but 90% sure it is not an Ahli. Just does not look right.
