I just bought 4 apples/mysteries from Petsmart and man what a hassle! This petsmart is actually pretty good, people there are pretty on the up and up. The worker there (Dan) proceeded to question what was in my tank, why I wanted the snails, what other kind of snails I have, let me know the babies usually clog up the filters. Anyway, I have 2 ivories and 2 goldens.... they are about the size of a dime, looking forward to them growing :)
 
your apples still have a whole lot of growing in them yet as they can reach a good 6" in diamete.

mine are about 3" in diameter about the size or a 50p coin (uk)
 
If they're Mystery Snails, they won't get much bigger than 2".
 
Congrats on the new babies, DD ;)

My smaller ones seem to grow alot faster than my adults, they went from O to O in about a week. but the adults seem to grow very little once they get about 11/2" -2".
 
i got my golden apple snails @ 1" and now they are 3" diameter in 2 weeks..so pritty quick so far but am sure they will slow down now.
 
they feed on the algea in the tank and somtimes they get a look in at the algea tabls i put in for my plec.

i also put a boiled potato in now and then as my plec loves them, and the snails do to.

i dont really put anything special in for the apples they seem to be getting on very well with whats availible to them in the tank.
