Strange Looking Krib

Ok, i have a pair of spawning kribs in a 20 gal. But in my 30 gal i have what was sold to me as a krib. but it looks nothing like my other two!

It's alot darker, almost black sometimes. It has a krib shape, just not the color.

what is it? i've never seen this coloration before. It's also alot darker looking in reality. i think the flash brightened it up

It's definatly a krib still. It's just younger or kept in better conditions. When they get older they tend to lose some of their color. I have a 6 month old male thats all grey with a black strip. I think he was a year old when I bought him. Yet my female is much darker and brighter, she seems more spunky too. This might be better in the cichlid section too.
