my first lost fish

i just bought 2 clown gobys from my lfs. the first day i had them they were both eating. they looked good and was going all over the tank. same with the 2nd day. well today i couldnt find the one it didnt come out to eat or any thing. then i seen it later in the day it wasnt as bright yellow as the other one and the one was starting to go after him. so i move the lesser colored one to a seprit tank and when i got home he had already passed away

You lack much info on your tank age for one thing for if this be a new setup your issues could be most anything like not so stable system for one and water quality would have to be in question as well for if you were still in the cycling process, not all fish are suited for this and then I would suggest people like yourself to gone with as cheap fish as you can for this like damsels. Indeed the Gobiodon okinawae is a beautiful fish for its size> If any mis-spelling, sorry for im still in the learning to how to operate with MSN and I need to go and get me a CD (Microsoft office) so that I might be able to have a little help in work checking>

Really sorry to hear of your loss....As Oldmanofthesea states, telling us your water params etc may help us to point you in a direction of why the fish died...or...it could just be one of them things and nothing could of been done to stop it from dying...

i think it was because the one fish stated to bite the other one by the time i found that out it was to late
