Hi!

I just got some ghost shrimp, and unlike anything I've read about them, they're about as unactive as anything can be. I see them in one place, leave for an hour, come back, and they're still not there.

Also, they're not eating anything. got them last night. Tried feeding them today during the afternoon. Won't even budge.

Any ideas? TIA!

Frequently, these guys have a high mortality. Do they move if prodded?

Maybe they didn't adjust to your aquarium water. They seem to be on the delicate side.... Can't think of what else could cause this except differences in temperature when you put them in.

If they are not moving i would suspect they are molting or dieing. Ghost fish die really easily. Try some amano shrimp a little more expensive but definitly live much longer and are hardier
