what should i use for the top of pond...timber...tile...paver.....i was thinking western red cedar.......

You made no steps which means you won't be able to add plants in the future since it appears too deep. I assume therefore it is meant to be a Koi pond. What material did you use for the walls? Doesn't look like PVC nor plain cement.

yep it's for koi.....i have a few potted plants ready to go in when finished.....the pond is made from cement block's...with 12mm steel in floor and walls.core filled walls with cement...i am about to start building a bigger outdoor room so soon the pond will be in door's.

It looks wonderful!! I would think a tile/stone border would be less maintenance .

not really....i went with the liner....i put it in 2 days ago but can't get the corners right..after that i will put a timber top on...
