Hey,
im new to these forums, i have 2 asian tiger crawfish in a 10 gallon tank, i understand that the tank is smaller than what you might consider for them, i don't want to get into that, my objective of this tank was to have an aesthetically enjoyable tank and to possibly get them to mate. one is male and one is female (as im sure you figured). my question is, what is the best method to successfully have the babies born and not eaten and have them grow to their full size. I read somewhere that when the babies are born its best to take the mother out of the tank and put her in a separate tank for awhile. my current set up is i have the 2 tiger lobsters and i usually have around 5-7 rosie reds in the tank at any given time for them to feed off of. any suggestions (not regarding the tank size) would be great.
