Hi all,
I'm worried about my female Kribensis.This is the second female krib I've had that has developed this condition, The first died of it.
She has laid her eggs in the coconut shell now and Dad is doing a grand job of protecting her but It appears her mouth is either rotting away or is bitten away.a few days before this manifests itself, she appears to be stretching her mouth open and holding her mouth slightly open,then a few days later part of her lips are missing. LIke I say this is the second fish its happened too, Only Female Krib, only with young!!!????.
Interestingly, this has happened only when they have had young,no other fish are affected,water quality is A1,male Krib is fine dosn't seem to be aggresive toward her. other than that she appears great, good colour and finage.
Any suggestions ??
