just wanted to say hi from the New England coastline. I have found all the information very helpful, and look forward to posting how my tanks are going.
I have a 55g with three large blue gouramis, one gold gourami, two mating blue paradise gouramis, two hi-fin tetras, and now two red honey gouramis. with may plants, and two rock caves.
And shorly I will be constructing a saltwater tank as well.:p:

wow, HI thanks. I am hoping to expand my color options for my tank, but I am having trouble finding the right colors that I want. I am hoping to truly have a fish rainbow in my tank. By the way I live in Maine.

Yes I live in the great Vacationland itself. I love it here, And I live in what is known to the locals as the heast of the maine. I live between 4 metro areas. I have Brunswick to the south, Lewiston/Auburn to the west, and Augusta to the NOrth. And I live right on the Kennebec River, with the biggest jumping fish I have ever seen in my life. Not to mention 16 foot sturgeon swimming under my boat.

yep I live in a small town called Richmond and if you blink you'll miss it. But we do live on the biggest saltwater tidel marsh. And like I said huge fish, I won't go swimming in the river huge fish. But it is only an hour boat ride to the beach, and awesome tank species.

Hi Everyone!
I just Joined and I am from Lyman Maine. Thats about 20 miles south of Portland. Looking for someone in the are who raises angel fish and especially Discus.. Anyone???
