Are there any cons to using aragonite? thinking of changing from gravel

Were switching over to it slowly, our 20 has it and we ordered more for the 29, should get it tomorrow, your ph will be in the upper 7's, ours is 7.8, and its pricey, 20 pounds for 26 dollars, grain size on the stuff we got is 1-2 mm, and cleans up like gravel with the python, ours is white in color, were very happy with it so far and does not cloud up while doing vac's.........:)

I know aragonite is great sand for a marine tank.
it's great for buffering higher pH with calcium and magnesium,
