I read online that they only bread twice a year. I have 7 babies now. At what age/size are they able to mate? Right now I am keeping the babies in a 5g. How big do they get? Whats the smallest tank you would keep one in? How do you sex them? I heard the females have larger feelers but I cant find a site with pictures to help me sex them.

They get to be a few inches across. You should be able to keep the seven in a 5g tank, providing sufficient food, and clean water/tank.
They are live breeders, and from what I know, they breed whenever they want to. As to their sexual maturity, I can't say. I would guess that they need to be of sufficient size to support the development of young within their shell, so say 1/2 to 3/4ths of an inch.
Hopefully someone else will be able to help you out with sexing information, that I don't know.
