Hey guys, my 100G FOWLR-EGTBAR (Eventually Going To Be A Reef! lol) is about a month away from being set up, but it's never too late to start thinking about what kinds of fish I want in it! Here's what I'm thinkin so far:

I already have these in my 37G and they will be moved to the new 100G

2-False Percs (Tank Raised(
2-Damsels (Yellowtail and Blue Devil)
Neon Goby
Firefish


These are what I'm thinking about adding

Royal Gramma Basslet
2-Black and White Ocellaris Clownfish (Tank Raised)
Six Line Wrasse
Blue Tang
5-Green Chromis
Sail Fin Blenny


and maybe these for "mated pairs"

1 more Firefish
1 more Neon Blue Goby (Tank Raised)


Let me know what you guys think. I'm looking for fish with personality!!!
 
Well I would drop the Damsels on the move, regardless of how large the tank is, (I have a 100 gallon as well) they are nasty, and in a tank that size, once in, you will never get them out.

With that list you will be approaching capacity, although you really are only adding one large fish. Chromis will work well, in a tank that size they may stick together and school, mine did for a while.

As for the clowns it is hard to say, all fish are different of course. You may get away with it, you may not.

Remember that when adding like species, try to add at the same time, so if you are considering acquiring a firefish to match with the one you already have, try to do it at the same time if possible.

1 pac blue tang
3 reef chromis
mated pair percula clowns
2 lyretail chromis
2 spotted cardinal fish
1 engineer goby
1 firefish
current cleanup crew: 25 turbos, 25 blue leg hermits
Inverts: star polyp, yellow colony polyp, leather coral, pulsing Xenia, 1 sand star, 1 colony of green zoa
 
I would second what has been said. Drop the damsels, as they just add bio load, and can become nasty. Also, its not wise to mix two different TYPES of clowns. Clowns can be mixed, as long as they are of the same species. So if you want more clowns, get more false percs. If you buy them in bundles of 6 or so, they will form a pecking order, as well as a mated pair most of the time. But if you get two different species, (black and white, and false perc) in most cases they will fight and argue until death.

I agree with gomrjoe & Joander123; damsels are pretty, perky fish; but forums are full of people wanting to know how to get them out of an established tank. These little terrors can dictate everything that goes on in your tank as long as they're there. There are exceptions, but they are an incredible pain to deal with. I think otherwise, you have a great stock list. Except for the tang, these are smaller fish and IMO; you are well within bioload limits for a 100 gal tank. If you don't count the tang, I doubt the bioload from everything else on your list would exceed that of a medium size trigger. I do admit to stocking on the heavy myself; but go slow and keep watching water quality; and I think you'll be fine.
