How do you trim Vallisneria?

How do you trim Vallisneria when it gets too long?

I just cut the tops off with a sharp pair of scissors. I've never had any problem doing it and they just keep growing.

I agree. Just clip the tops off that get raggy. They will keep on growing.

One problem. Once cut they never have the same tips. The tips will turn brown because of the intrusion.
