I have a little bit of salt in my tanks (my fish get nippy, keeps them healthy, fin-rot-less) and I want to put her snails in, should I just do a few water changes or what?

(And no, I am not buying a refractometer lol)

Would they be ok with a *tiny* bit of salt?

Water changes are the only way to get rid of salt. Despite the relatively common belief that salt is good for fish, it's certainly not necessary for FW species.
Then there was the woman who called up the lfs saying that her algae eater was floating. When asked how much salt she had been adding to the tank, she said 1 tsp/gallon, enough for the whole tank, with each water change. Salt doesn't evaporate between water changes. :duh: The salt content was beyond brackish, and was actually so high it was too much for the algae eater. The goldfish were still swimming, not floating yet. :thud:
True story, BTW.

just do a couple 50% WCs and you should be fine

Two 50% changes will only take you down to 25% of the intial concentration. I would do at least 5 at 50%.

Five? Wow... ok...
