Wat if your not sure what your fish has? Like maybe its ick or maybe its something else. Or something along them lines. I mean especially for a newbie to diseases. I mean even if you are positive what it is andthen it turns out its differnt the fish will then die of it right? Could you just throw a bunch of treatments in that cure what it could be. Like it could b 2 or 3 things so you throw in 2-3 different treaments that cure those things?
 
If your fish gets ich then they need to be moved to a seperate tank until its cured. Only use ONE treatment for ich, especially if it has copper. Using multiple treatments will raise the copper level to deadly levels for any fish. They're some fish, particularly clowns and tangs, that cannot take copper treatment because any amount can be deadly to them.

Remember, don't move snails, crabs, shrimp, or corals into any tank that has be treated with copper. They are all highly sensitive to copper levels of any kind. And NEVER use copper in your main tank.

Unfortunately, medicating incorrectly and, worse yet, mixing random medications can be dangerous and can certainly cause more harm than good. As riverserver said, using things like antibiotics with copper can release the bond of the chelating agent and free all the available copper, causing rapid toxicity. You can, however, usually successfully mix antibiotics. Otherwise, I would not attempt it.
