Miami / LA Ink

Anyone else think this artist aren't that good. Discovery has seemed to pick them for attitude and not ability. I've heard that the original Miami Ink was all staged and they are not all the "great friends" they claim. Your thoughts?

I think they(Miami Ink) have some amazing work, on the otherhand I am not too sure about LA Ink. So far from what I've seen I have not been impressed, when it comes to tattoos though I am beyond picky! Been looking all over the net lately at artists and the tattoos they've done, and finally picked one a guy named Joshoua who is highly reguarded in my community. I think Miami Ink has some amazing artists, but not so sure about LA Ink.

the thing about actually going to miami ink, is that u dont actually get ami or chris or the hot chris ;) (ladies u know which one) u get like a whole mess of unknown people, the actual miami ink guys are usually never there or have a huge wait list. I called once, to go with a rookie 20yo tattoo guy whos done like 10 tattoos maybe is like $150 for something ________________ that big. so the show really sells u something thats nothing like the real miami ink. IMO i would go with this tattoo shop thats has 3 locations here in miami that has been around for 20+ years experience.
