Well planting had me fooled, but the matter at hand, now we know DC has to be innocent, and i am, so that leaves either Mad or JP who are Mafia...

Ok tell me what you think wata and jl (sorry mad, I guess I can't ask for your opinion)...if mp was in fact old mafia, why would he be defending dc and plant...only one mafia team technically wins, so wouldn't he want us to lynch them (new mafia) while he puts hits on us? Not necessarily, you may have been gambling for a botched lynch and one of your other mafia associates would be protected in the case that MP is an old mafia person. In such a scase you could potentially get the game right in your hands.

The Kidnapping...after night #1, the Kidnapper can PM me to remove a player for one day cycle (until the next night is over). If the kidnapped victim is on that nights lynch or hit, or investigation, nothing will be revealed. If the kidnapper is on that nights lynch or hit, the kidnap will fail. The kidnapped person will not be able to post in the thread until I have released him. The kidnapper can not reveal their identity to anyone![/B]



Nope....kidnapped victim can still be hit...just no read on their status (mafia or innocent) upon their death. But we've already got the detective's read on Joander.

I have been very busy. I am in Georgia of all places, long story.

I am just getting settled in my hotel room and I might not be able to post again until tomorrow night.

There is one known mafia left besided the Don Joander.

They both are on the same mafia team.

They would not vote there own player right off the bat.

I know I have seen lots of posts by mystery player, that seems to align them with DeputyChiefJR. I think everyone knows how I feel about mystery player.

I also see the DC is not willing to even give a good opinion on mp.

The next day I will vote for the Don, If I am still here. My guess is either myself or Wata will be taken out. Once the Don is gone, someone will need to vote for mp. They are part of the New Mafia.

I'm having major second thoughts. I really don't like the mystery player, but i increasingly keep thinking that maybe the fact that any investigation on the MP would show innocent. . . . is because he is innocent. it seems like a trick because that would just be too straightforward and obvious, but after the whole Charlie/hairdresser/Doctor revelation, RB kinda likes "hiding things in plain sight".

At no time in the game has Deputy screamed 'mafia' to me, and i am uncomfortable with the way i threw my vote on him so quickly. He is quiet, which is troublesome as far as analysis goes, but doesn't really seem guilty.

The Mafia - I will pick a leader among your group to PM me your hit. If the leader dies you will need to send in your own hits/investigations. I won't hold a no vote against you, though it will be frowned upon, whoever has the most votes dies. I might be so downtroddened at a non vote that your name could subconciously be typed onto the hit post that night. Each Mafia group will get an investigation per night, if they investigate another Mafia, it will show as innocent.

The Mafia only get 3 investigations each per game. The Mafia group that gets the hit completed doesn't get an investigation completed, the Mafia group whose hit didn't go through will get an investigation completed. A non completed investigation will not count against your alloted amount.


The Mystery Person...they join the game after the events of game night #2. They will show innocent on any investigation. A random generator will decide if an Innocent or a Mafia, and what team they may be on.

For the Mystery Player, rb comes right out and says that their status (mafia or innocent) is determined randomly. There is no clue in the fact that they will read innocent upon investigation. All that means is that if the mafia or detective investigate, that they're investigation will be inconclusive. Don't try to overthink too much...

As far as DC not seeming mafia to you, that's because he's a lurker. Did mee-mee, joander, or plantling scream mafia? I bet not. That's why lurking is often a strategy used by the mafia. Think back to game 6 that you read, but didn't participate in. Remember the townies running around like chickens lynching each other? The reason that happened is because the whole mafia lurked that game (every single one of them).

Read thru the thread again....look for any posts where Plantling, Joander, or DC cast suspicion on each other. You won't find them.

wchicken: If you aren't with Ice why are you still defending him? You say you aren't, that you are only saying we still shouldn't trust King, yet you still are voting for King currently. I would say I trust that King is the real Det. about 90%. There are really three options:

A) King is the real Detective, he investigated Ice and found he was Old Mafia, and the Snitch just as he says.

B) King is Old Mafia, he saw Ice about to be lynched and decided to use it to make himself look Innocent. But he would make-up the Snitch bit since Ice isn't allowed to tell anyone on his team he is the Snitch.

C) King is New Mafia, he is fairly certain Ice is Old Mafia and wants to use it to make himself look Innocnent. But once again the Snitch part makes this a very tough thing to believe as that is easily checked upon death of Ice.

So, I think there is about a 90% chance A is correct, 5% B, 5% C

Ok, why I had no vote...I have been completely off the site for 24 hours now and was only on for about half an hour last night. I did not feel comfortable placing a vote with minimal time to read/analyze the day's posts and also why I didn't state reasons for people (I was pretty much out the door) just names. I even pm'd rb explaining why I would not have a vote. My post supposedly casts a wide net, well I don't know why you think that...I was only really suspicious about the ones on "my list," the others were basically where I stood on people...a reference for myself and everyone really...

JP still could have submitted at this time......JL, no offense, i think that you not knowing who the MP is maybe clouding your observations, i urge you to put aside your frustrations and look at the info provided...

How the heck could anyone think you're innocent? Because you're at least 0/5 in picking mafia? You picked DD, JL, Chas, all known innocents as mafia. Then you picked me as mafia (I know I'm innocent). You then also defended known mafia Plantling....yeah, you seem innocent alright.

Now you're saying that JPap IS mafia, and I'm suspicious.....NEWSFLASH! There's only ONE original mafia left, so why are you still playing the fence? Coler wouldn't get hit early every game, Ogre might not get investigated early every game, people might be less likely to let lurking go unpunished if they didn't know who was lurking, etc. Folks would be playing the game in the thread, and reputations and past games wouldn't come into play.

Nobody would be able to reveal their true identies (even the mafia to each other) and EVERYONE would be forced to stay invisible at all times, regardless of whether they had something to hide or not.

For the 20 or so people that want to play that game, they should pm the Mod of the game and tell them who they are and what username they will be going by...we can set up our own accounts, so the Mod don't have to do it, and then pm him and tell him...that would be the easiest thing for the Mod and us...and you are right Sploke, we then wouldn't have to be invisible and no one would guess who we are and try to compare to previous games...

Awwwwe, you were trying to protect me. I tried to tell Jo I thought Z was Old Mafia, but I think with the heat Z and HN kept putting on him, our Don took executive action. And I did try putting off lynching HN at the expense of Sploke (Sorry Sploke), but he kept going after Jo and dug himself into a hole. And I knew mee-mee was Old Mafia, too after Z was hit from process of elimination since Ice was trying to get rid of DD, Mad, and Chaz, and Z was trying to get rid of Sploke, Jpappy, and Wata. I think playing as random players is a good idea (if i were Coler i would have done this already) as certain players (Ice, Z, Mad, etc.) are investigated almost automatically. Trouble with this game is the better you get the less the mafia want you to play.
