How much to get started

hi everyone :hi:. I have a res right now and a pretty large backyard. I can see myself building a pond

I would just like an idea of how much ponds usually take to get up and running and how much you guys here have spent on them

I am in the process right now. I paid around 600 for the pond kit and I am going to spend about 300 on rocks for edging. I think it depends on how you are going to build it. Whether it is going to be formal or informal.
