After much debate, I broke down and finally got my first one yesterday. So far he/she seems to be ok. Has already ventured a bit around the tank. I'm curious about feeding him/her though. I've read that just letting them eat the algea and the dead plant parts will be fine. I was also curious about the algea tabs for plecos....are these a viable supplement for them? I would only put in maybe a 1/4 of a tab (not sure what their appetite might be). What are some good snacks for them as well?

thx kindly

Algae wafers work great.

I feed mine betta food.. It floats but that doesn't slow them down. Altho that's a snail only tank. I've yet to see a snail not eat everything it can get in it's mouth. They don't like the outside bits of peas, but all fish foods I've tried they've gobble up.
