I set up my used eheim 2226 and 2227 wet/dry filters about a week ago, and have noticed that the wet/dry filter seems to run in bursts...meaning it blows out hard, then slowly fills back up in the wet/dry part and blows out again. Is this how it's supposed to run? New to eheim AND wet/dry, so I have no idea whats going on.
Eheim 2227 supposed to slow down and start up?

i havent used one personally, but i do think thats how they run... it isnt wet/dry if its never dry

i dont have one either......but it sounds likes it working fine. IM guessing it does this so the media is both dry, and wet, like the name wet/dry implies.

Mine seems to be having problems with stamina. Kinda blows out for awhile, and then peeters out. Everytime I walk by and notice, it's barely spitting out anything. I end up having to block the output line to build up pressure and it flows much stronger.
This can't be right....is it?
