I know I read some where that water cirulation is what times the amout of water I cant find it.
I just put a power head in my tank and it is moving the water to much i think but maybe not.

You want 10x turnover for a FO or FOWLR, and I'd suggest 25x turnover for a reef. Some go less and some go lots more.

Is this the 180 in your signature? If so I'd add more flow not less. Especially with the narrow flow the MJs have.

Yes this is my 180 gal I move my maxi jets.
I have a canaster filter magnum 350 and i just put a Hydor Koralia 1200 in there and there is so much movement.
I have another Hydor 1200 and a seio 1500 to put in there but i just dont know what to do.

I think that is one of the korallia powerheads bahamiangirl is referring to. Whichever model corresponds to 1200 gph. Circulation is something you shouldn't skimp on. I have a bit over 100x turnover in my 75 alone, however, it is very heavily stocked and thickly grown-in.

Yes it is a #4. so i should add the other power heads has I get more rock in there?
Thanks everyone

You want 1800gph minimum. For a reef I'd say 4500gph towards the conservative side. Some fare well with less and some go tons more. Try to avoid the dead spots between and behind rocks and in the corners of the tank.
