What's a good carpet kind of plant?

What's a good, easy to care for plant that spreads on the bottom of a tank fast, and easy to come by? All I have is a bunch of dwarf hairgrass but I want java moss really bad. For some reason it's so hard to come by. Does anyone have another recommendation for a good carpet kind of plant?
 
It depends a lot on how much light you have. More light, not too deep of a tank = more options.
 
why not order some java moss if you really want some
 
There are a couple posts over on the "free plants" thread about people with excess java moss.
 
I dont see how your going to get java moss to carpet the floor ?
