i was wondering if snails/shrimp can transfer ich or other disease to a diffrent tank. Do you still have to qt them or can they go into the main tank?
They won't be infected with ich, but could easily carry it on them. So can plants.

If the salt levels are low enough, I'd put the snail back in the "gt" (do you mean QT?) tank. Keep a fish in there and see if the fish gets ich. If the fish doesn't show any signs of ich after a week, it's safe to put the snail in your main tank.
Good luck!
