ramshorns breeding

i know ramshorns have both sex organs but, can any one tell me will they prefer to mate with each other or just by them selves?

i ask because i think 1 of my red and 1 of my brown were mateing this morning.

wahey all 6 of my ramshorn snails have mated with each other 4 red and 2 brown.

so i have answered my own question cheers lol.
