$3 / lb. for LR isn't too bad, although it looks a little barren (no coralline algae or other obvious color). Maybe you can talk him down to $2 - $2.50 / lb.

I was going to say the same thing a little barren, but at $3 a pound that's not bad. How many lbs is it?

it doesnt look very porous, maybe aquacultured? non live tufa?
it also has some nuisance algae allready on it


if it were me id pass on it. for $1 more you can get way better looking rock that at least has the typical image of what "live" rock should look like

i agree with what's been posted. i don't see any holes in the rock at all... i got nice rock on eBay for around $3/pound shipped.

Agree with the above. I would add though since you are near the coast you should be able to get a lot better for 3.50 a lb.. That rock almost looks like base rock.
