with the intention of feeding a few corals. The prime reef is thawed and I reach for my handy dandy turkey baster. Only the bottom is missing. The rubber bulb at the top is there but the rest? Gone. Hmm, I'll have to have a talk with the dogs later.

So I'm scrounging through the kitchen trying to find something else. Hmm wooden kabob skewer? Eh, probably not. So I get the brilliant (ha) idea of using chopsticks.

So there I am in the dark, chopsticks in hand and I'm feeding the corals. Worked like a charm although it is kinda hard to keep ahold of something that is breaking apart as you grasp it. Snails will be happy tonight. Someone should have had a camera ready.

for if they did that would have to be your new advatar :duh: :duh:

got a bug problem? ;)

Doesn't sound near as dorky as me crawling around under my desk with a tape measure and union valves...

im the one busting out scientific names while all my friends are going out to a party... haha
grins: pipettes work well too. they are less likely to leak and you dont have to soak up as much water with the food.

Yes, going to get one just haven't gotten around to it yet. If I had found a straw last night I've had tried that too. But the chopsticks made a funny few moments for my late night amusement.

No, I'm such a fish nerd I bought this thing JUST for the tank at night.
